Hatha Yoga refers to a set of physical exercises (known as asanas or postures), and sequences of asanas, designed to align your skin, muscles, and bones. The postures are also designed to open the many channels of the body, especially the main channel, the spine, so that energy can flow freely.
In this class you will learn basic yoga postures and enjoy your breath. These classes include detailed instructions of breathing, basic standing and seated postures, and also an introduction to some new asanas. This course is a continuation of “Intro to Hatha” and new students are welcome. Please inform Dana of any previous injuries or special needs. No prior yoga experience is necessary.
