Cara Cheeley
We are extremely excited to announce that Cara Cheeley will be joining the Healing House as of March 1st! Please help welcome Cara!
Cara is originally from Western PA and has recently returned after spending some time in St. Lucia and North Carolina and is very excited to be joining the Harmony community with the Healing House at the Center of Harmony. Cara is a Massage & Bodywork Therapist, Reiki Level 2 Practitioner, Esthetician and Yoga Instructor. Her studies and personal experiences have led her to the path of healing. After struggling with anxiety and depression for years, yoga brought a sense of inner peace and comfort that she had never experienced before. She practiced different styles of yoga over several years before deciding she would like to share what she knew with others so that they too may bring peace and clarity to their minds and heal their bodies. In 2010, she received her 200 hr RYT Yoga Certification with Marianne Wells in Costa Rica. This is when she had the vision of opening some sort of healing house someday. After finishing the program, she decided to make a career change to shift her focus to a more therapeutic path where she could really help others, as well as learn more about the body. In 2011, she received her Esthetics Certification from the PA Academy of Cosmetology Arts & Sciences. In 2013, she received her Massage & Bodywork Certification from the Center for Massage & Natural Health in Asheville, NC, where she studied not only massage modalities, such as Swedish and Neuromuscular, but also the connection of the mind and the body with courses in Energy Work and Somatic Psychology. Cara’s main goal through her work as Yoga Instructor and Massage/Bodywork Therapist is to help her clients heal and nourish their body, mind and soul and to know that a better quality of life is possible, so they too may find some inner peace and comfort. When Cara saw this opportunity with the Healing House in Harmony, she knew that her vision was coming to fruition. She looks forward to continuing the ripple of healing into the Harmony community.
