HARMONY, Pa. (July 12, 2013) – You’ve seen mountain biking, marathons, basketball and hockey… but have you ever seen them done on one wheel?
The Center of Harmony will host the 2013 North American Unicycling Convention and Championships (NAUCC) July 21- July 27, 2013. The week’s events include Mountain Unicycling, several distance races (10k, Time Trial, Crit and Marathon), Basketball and Hockey, Artistic Freestyle, Track Racing, and the quickly growing extreme riding competitions of Street (flips, spins and tricks performed in simulated urban environment), Flatland (flips, spins and tricks on a flat surface), and Trial (similar to motorcycle or bicycle trials). Many of the top competitors in the sport will be showing off their skills at these events.
More than 300 participants will be coming from all over the U.S. and from around the world; including countries like Australia, Germany and Finland.

PHOTO/VIDEO OPPORTUNITIES: Most media outlets have expressed interest in the Artistic Freestyle, Basketball, Hockey and Mountain Unicycling, but all of our competitions are open to the media and public. We will provide you with the best location for shooting as well as athletes you can interview. We also have some opportunities for your anchors/reporters/meteorologists to be live from an event, or we can arrange for a group of our athletes to be available for morning show live shots.
